Pest Control Technician

About the Role:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pest Control Technician to join our growing team. At Local Guy Pest Control, we believe excellent documentation and top-tier communication are just as important as the treatments we provide. Your role will be to deliver safe, effective pest control services while ensuring customers are fully informed and confident in the service they receive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service First:

  • Greet and communicate with customers in a professional, friendly manner.

  • Clearly explain treatment plans, service results, and next steps.

  • Answer questions and provide honest, straightforward solutions without sales pressure.

• Thorough Documentation:

  • Accurately log all treatments, products used, locations serviced, and customer interactions through our CRM system.

  • Maintain clear, complete records that reflect the work performed and help the team track progress and ensure accountability.

  • Document conditions, conducive areas, pest activity, and any customer concerns.

• Field Work & Service Execution:

  • Perform general pest control services, wildlife inspections, and other treatments as trained.

  • Inspect properties for signs of pest activity and potential entry points.

  • Apply products safely and in accordance with all label, legal, and company guidelines.

• Team Communication & Professionalism:

  • Report issues promptly and contribute to team discussions.

  • Collaborate with the team to improve service routes, communication, and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain a clean vehicle and professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications:

• A strong communicator with a friendly, professional demeanor

• Organized and reliable with attention to detail

• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and communication

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions

• Previous pest control experience a plus but not required—we will train the right person
